Next-gen GTA 5 leak suggests support for single-player save transfer

By the end of 2021, Rockstar Games will have ported GTA 5 over to at least 7 different consoles and three console generations.

With that said, the affable but coy Rockstar Games has wisely kept the details about the next-gen version of the 2013 title under wraps.

Worry not though. Because as secretive as Rockstar Games is, there's nothing that determined data miners cannot uncover.

Popular data miner alloc8or has found what appears to be clues to a new feature coming to GTA 5 when it arrives on the Xbox Series S/X and the PS5.

The new feature would reportedly let players transfer their single-player save files from the current-gen version of GTA 5 to the next-gen versions.

The data miners also claim that Rockstar is working on Character Transfer services in preparation for the next-gen version of the latest GTA title.

Unfortunately, with so little information to go on, all we can do now is wait for Rockstar Games to make an announcement.
