By Ray Ampoloquio July 6, 2021
Pokémon Unite is an upcoming title based on Nintendo's long-running franchise with a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) twist.
Pokemon Unite is a MOBA-style Pokémon game. It's a joint effort between The Pokémon Company International and TiMi Studio Group.
Pokémon Unite will release on the Nintendo Switch first in July 2021. The mobile version will follow suit in September 2021.
It's currently unknown if Pokémon Unite will be available on other platforms in the future.
Pokemon Unite will pit two teams composed of five players each. These two teams will battle it out on a mythical island known as the Aeos Island.
The goal is to gather as much Aeos energy and points as possible to claim victory.
Like any Pokémon title, players will get a chance to pick their favorite Pokémon to use in battle.
Pokemon Unite will have 3 types of currency: Aeos gems, Aeos coins, and Aeos tickets. Aeos gems can only be purchased using real-life money.
