Ubisoft reveals reasonable requirements to play Far Cry 6 on PC

The Far Cry series has indeed come a long way from being Crytek's baby back in the late 2000s.

Ubisoft has focused less on melting away user's PCs since taking over the game's development.

This is also true for Far Cry 6, which has relatively modest requirements for those who want to play the game on the PC.

As per the official requirements, you could technically run Far Cry 6 on a $500 gaming PC.

Of course, to enjoy the game at its best, you'll need to shell out some serious cash.

Running the game at 1440p and no ray-tracing requires at least having AMD RX 5700 XT or Nvidia RTX 2070 Super as your graphics card.

Meanwhile, for Ultra Settings, you'll need at least flagship-class graphics cards like the AMD RX 6800 and Nvidia RTX RTX 3080

Of course, if you want to enjoy Far Cry 6 without worrying about building a PC, you could just get a PS5 or Xbox Series X.

Far Cry 6 will run at a native 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on current-gen consoles.

Either way, Far Cry 6 is definitely a must-play based on Giancarlo's performance alone.

The fact that the Season Pass lets you play as previous villains is just a bonus.

Far Cry 6 arrives on October 7, 2021.
