A mouse and keyboard player is said to hold a significant edge over a controller player in an FPS game.
The difference in response times is enough to tilt the odds against controller players, but you could barely notice that in the recent Overwatch 2 crossplay showdown match.
While many expected the PC team to wipe the floor with the console squad that didn't have the time to practice after two last-minute substitutions, the game was a lot closer than the score would suggest.
This impressed Overwatch 2 fans who watched game as the hero shooter is believed to be more suited towards PC gaming.
It's safe to say that PC gamers don't hold as much of an edge in Overwatch 2 if any at all.
Of course, it's hard to dispell a common notion, so we don't think anyone's minds will be changing anytime soon.
