After revealing the game at BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard is yet to announce a release date for Overwatch 2.

Since then, disappointed fans have believed that an Overwatch sequel isn't coming until at least 2023.

But, in what is potentially good news from a credible source, Blizzard might start giving players a glimpse of Overwatch 2 soon.

Several different sources have made similar claims that Blizzard invited Overwatch content creators to attend "secret meetings" and sign non-disclosure agreements.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to deduce that these lowkey powwows are about Overwatch 2.

Furthermore, changes to Overwatch's in-game files that hint at an impending Overwatch 2 demo.

Of course, this remains unconfirmed, so take it with a grain of salt.

But, the timing of an Overwatch 2 beta in March would line up with the next season of the Overwatch League.

Since OWL 2022 kicks off in April, fans will only need to wait until then to find out if the Overwatch 2 beta will be available by that time.
