Official Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer released

After the massive leak of the incomplete version, the official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has been released by Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios.

As earlier reported, an incomplete prototype trailer of the Spider-Man: No Way Home film coming later this year was leaked.

Sony Pictures decidesd to release the official trailer publicly through YouTube quickly after its CinemaCon debut.

The Sony Pictures Entertainment YouTube version swiftly hit 20 million+ views, as of this writing.

In the trailer, in a moment of epiphany (or desperation), Peter approaches Doctor Stephen Strange to make the world forget he is Spider-Man.

Peter’s mixed intentions causes Doctor Strange’s spellcasting to go wrong, which has causes chaos in the multiverse.

In the end, signs of old villains from other Spider-Man films pop up, including possible nods to Electro, the Sandman, and the Green Goblin.

The trailer ends with the arrival of Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) from Spider-Man 2 (2004) greeting his nemesis saying: 'Hello, Peter'.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will be swinging into your friendly neighborhood theaters on December 17, 2021.
