Spider-Man: No Way Home presales are the highest since Avengers: Endgame

2019's Avengers: Endgame sold $40 million worth of pre-sale tickets within 24 hours.
The film then went on to make a little over $2.8 billion at the global box office, which is the second highest of all time.
Spider-Man: No Way Home didn't quite make $40 million in ticket pre-sales, but the $35 million it made is just second behind Endgame.
Many are now expecting No Way Home to be the highest-grossing film of the COVID-19 pandemic and make over $1 billion at the global box office.
It remains to be seen if No Way Home is going to end up setting a new record or not, but all signs point towards a record-setting box office take.
At the moment, No Time to Die and F9 are the highest-grossing international films of the COVID-19 pandemic with roughly around $700 million in gross ticket sales each.
However, unlike No Time to Die and F9, No Way Home has the benefit of releasing during the holiday season with COVID-19 restrictions starting to ease up.
No Way Home will premiere in theaters and IMAX on December 17.
