There will be no microtransactions and loading screens for the Dead Space remake

Back in 2010, coincidentally around the time that Dead Space 2 was released, EA said that single-player games were "finished".

Fast forward to today and EA has backtracked on its earlier statement.

As a matter of fact, the Dead Space remake won't just be a single-player game, it won't even have microtransactions at all.

EA's senior producer Phil Ducharme confirmed this during an interview with IGN.

The Dead Space series is widely considered one of the best horror games of all time.

Following the release of 2013's Dead Space 3, audiences would hear virtually zero news about a fourth title.

It wasn't until earlier this year that leaks and rumors about a new Dead Space game started appearing.

True enough, at EA Play Live 2021, EA announced the Dead Space remake.
