In 2018, Amy Hennig left EA while working on an unreleased Star Wars game.

Four years later, Hennig's new studio is working on a new Star Wars project.

Skydance New Media confirmed that it is working in "collaboration with Lucasfilm Games to develop and produce a richly cinematic action-adventure game featuring an original story in the legendary Star Wars galaxy."

Hennig has served as the president of the Skydance Media gaming offshoot since forming it in 2018.

Hennig is best known for her work on the Legacy of Kain, Jak and Daxter, as well as Uncharted.

Hennig most recently lent her creative mind to Square Enix for Forspoken, an upcoming fantasy-based action RPG that's set to come out later this year following an unfortunate delay.

Hennig's Star Wars game will serve as her second project since leaving EA in 2018.

Skydance New Media is also working with Disney on a AAA Marvel game.
