New Line Cinema has hired David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick to pen the script for the next installment in The Conjuring franchise.
This will be the writer's third The Conjuring film after writing the scripts for The Conjuring 2 and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.
James Wan and Peter Safran, who have produced all the films in The Conjuring universe, will reprise their roles.
The former took to Instagram to confirm that Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will also be returning.
Michael Chaves, who directed the third The Conjuring film as well as The Nun 2, might come back to direct The Conjuring 4.
The previous installments are currently available on HBO Max and Amazon Prime Video for those who need a reminder of just how scary the movies are.
