Naughty Dog's 2013 title was one of the last big AAA titles to be released for the PS3 and it pushed the seventh-generation console to its absolute limits.

Despite its age, The Last of Us, with the help of a PS4 upgrade and subsequent updates, still looks amazing on current-gen consoles.

But, it appears that Naughty Dog thinks that it could use a fresh coat of paint and more.

The latest bit of intel about The Last of Us remake comes from Neil Druckmann himself.

Druckmann is the co-director of the 2013 title as well as the sequel along with Naughty Dog's several other games.

Druckmann's peculiar attire in an Uncharted interview with Tom Holland includes a hat that reads "The Last of Us Part 1."

To no one's surprise, fans quickly caught the particularly minute detail, with many saying that this is actual confirmation that the remake of The Last of Us exists.

It's also the perfect way to drum hype ahead of a potential announcement soon, which could happen after Uncharted premieres on February 18.

With several trusted industry insiders claiming that the remake is in development, it feels like it's only a matter of time before the announcement comes.
