Microsoft is holding an Xbox and Bethesda showcase in June

Canceling E3 2022 was a gut punch for gamers looking forward to a big showcase later this year.

Unlike in 2020, several studios are stepping up in place of ESA's prestigious event.

According to Microsoft, it will hold an Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase on June 12.

The details of the upcoming event, which is usually a part of the annual E3 expo, are still unknown right now.

Microsoft claims that the show will "include everything you need to know about the diverse lineup of games coming soon to the Xbox ecosystem, including upcoming releases to Game Pass on Xbox and PC."

Given how Microsoft stole the show at E3 2021 with its lineup of day one launches for the Game Pass, it's safe to say that fans should expect the same.
