Marvel's Avengers to receive no support starting 2024

It's believed that Square Enix signed a multi-year deal with Marvel Studios to develop new content for Marvel's Avengers and support it until the deal is expired or renewed.

More than two years after the game came out in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the deal may soon run its course.

Marvel's Avengers is believed to be off to the "sunset" next year as Crystal Dynamics will have no more content planned for 2024 and the game's lead designer, Brian Waggoner, will leave by then.

The report explains that Crystal Dynamics' support for Marvel's Avengers was only going to last for only 3-5 years.

Even if this means that Crystal Dynamics will stop supporting the game, the servers will likely remain active.

If the rumors are true, Marvel's Avengers will hopefully go out with a bang next year.
