Insomniac Games confirms that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is coming in 2023

Because of the success of 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man, a sequel was all but guaranteed.

Technically, Insomniac Games did release a follow-up in 2020.

However, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales was more of a spin-off and expansion than a true sequel.

Now, Insomniac Games has officially confirmed that a true sequel is in the works and that it's coming in 2023.

In an earlier report, we covered a potential leak that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is in development.

A few months later, Miles Morales' mocap actor, Nadji Jeter, posted a photo of himself in full gear.

According to Insomniac Games, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will arrive in 2023.

Insomniac Games' Ryan Schneider confirmed that the studio brought back a majority of the original team behind Marvel's Spider-Man for the sequel.

Among the returning figures include creative director, Bryan Intihar, and game director, Ryan Smith.

Yuri Lowenthal and Jeter are both returning to reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Miles Morales, respectively.

Ryan also revealed that Tony Todd will voice Venom.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 isn't the only project that Insomniac Games is working on.

Insomniac Games also has another Marvel-related project.

The first-party Sony studio has also been tapped to helm Marvel's Wolverine.
