Leaker suggests GTA Remastered Trilogy will not release until 2022
By Ray Ampoloquio August 19, 2021
Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, all belong in the conversation as to the most influential games of all time.
Thus, you can't exactly blame fans for feeling excited when news came out that Rockstar Games was going to release a GTA Remastered Trilogy.
Earlier reports suggested that GTA Remastered Trilogy was going to release in 2021.
Now, one leaker claims that Rockstar might not release the compilation until 2022.
According to the reputable leaker, Tom Henderson, fans shouldn't expect GTA Remastered Trilogy to release before 2022.
However, according to the original report, Rockstar intended to release the GTA Remastered Trilogy alongside the next-gen version of GTA 5.
With that said, we wouldn't be surprised if Take-Two pushed back the unconfirmed trilogy bundle to 2022.
This would give the developers more time to iron out any kinks.
If Rockstar confirms the rumored GTA Remastered Trilogy for a 2022 release date, it will at least give fans something to sink their teeth into.
It's a long wait for the sixth installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
Just try not to get your hopes up too high.
After all, without any official confirmation, the GTA Remastered Trilogy remains a high-profile rumor for now.
