Jungle Cruise is a certified box office success with The Rock reportedly in talks for a sequel

Disney's attempt at kickstarting a brand new movie franchise is off to a good start.

One of the film's stars, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, isn't afraid to celebrate its success.

On its opening weekend, Jungle Cruise drew in more than $30 million despite growing concerns over the Delta variant.

The film also a 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, which is the highest of any film that Johnson has starred in.

In total, Jungle Cruise earned $34 million in the domestic box office during its opening weekend. At the same time, the movie pulled in $30 million from Disney+ Premier Access.

Naturally, Johnson is now reportedly in talks with Disney to discuss a potential sequel.

With that said, things just can't stop taking a turn for the better for the WWE superstar-turned-actor.
