Jake Paul beats Tyron Woodley to remain undefeated as a professional boxer
By Ray Ampoloquio August 30, 2021
Despite all the controversy surrounding him, Paul continues to silence naysayers.
This time, Paul has defeated Tyron Woodley via split decision in the main event of a boxing card on Sunday night.
The polarizing figure was able to withstand eight rounds against Woodley to secure his fourth straight win as a professional boxer.
While the loss comes off as a shock at first glance, it's important to put Woodley's performance into context.
Woodley may have entered the fight as the more experienced combat sports athlete, but this was his first professional boxing fight.
On the other hand, Paul has spent the last couple of years training as a professional boxer.
Woodley immediately demanded a rematch following the loss.
Paul simply responded to this by saying that the rematch will only happen if Woodley got an "I love Jake Paul" tattoo on his leg.
There are reports that Paul received at least $1 million just for fighting Woodley.
Because of how lucrative this is for Paul, we don't think that Paul is going to stop training and fighting anytime soon.
