Rumors suggest that Quantic Dream is making a new Star Wars game

By Ray Ampoloquio September 20, 2021

Quantic Dream is the studio responsible for some of the best narrative games released in recent years.

However, if the recent rumors are to go by, Quantic is working on something different.

Just how different? Think Star Wars.

Several sources are suggesting that Quantic's next project is a Star Wars game.

Kotaku, in particular, claims that its sources have confirmed that Quantic has worked on the project for 18 months.

Kotaku adds Quantic's Star Wars game will be a conventional action game with an open-world setting and multiplayer elements.

Job listings on Quantic's website also help put weight on these claims.

If the reports are true, then Star Wars fans have yet another Star Wars game to look forward to.

At the moment, several Star Wars projects are in development.

There is Aspyr Media's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake that will be a timed exclusive for the PS5.

EA has also "confirmed" that it's working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2.

Fans can also look forward to a new expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Of course, it should go without saying, but do take everything you just read with a grain of salt.
