The internet is roasting James Franco following the latest Spider-Man trailer premiere

Most of us know that Disney just dropped its largest MCU trailer ever.

The release of the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home broke the internet.

What you may not know is that the internet is having a field day roasting James Franco.

James Franco starred as Harry Osborn in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy.

He served as Peter Parker's rich friend for the better part of the first two films before donning the Green Goblin suit in the third one.

Now, fans are claiming that the voice at the end of the No Way Home trailer belongs to the controversial actor.

While this is not impossible, it it is highly unlikely as Franco is currently involved in a sexual misconduct lawsuit.

We doubt Disney will want to chance even more issues as it deals with its own lawsuit.

With that said, Dafoe's appearance in No Way Home is all but a lock at this point.

His portrayal of Spider-Man's arch nemesis is iconic and his distinct laughter is hard to forget.

However, we don't think that the voice at the end of the trailer belongs to Dafoe's Green Goblin.

Most likely, it belongs to Benedict Cumberbatch's Dr. Strange.

Then again, all bets are off now that Holland has confirmed that more plot twists are coming.

Suffice to say that we're all excited for the film's premiere in December later this year.
