Intel believes that the chip shortage might last until 2023

The semiconductor chip shortage is starting to get better, but don't expect things to return to normal soon.

According to Intel's CEO, the chip shortage is expected to last well until 2023.

Pat Gelsinger explained in a recent interview that there's still an imbalance between the supply and demand.

The worst part here is that we don't know if things are really going to get better by then.

The growing demand for electronics means that manufacturers will continue to struggle to keep up.

It certainly doesn't help that there are scalpers and miners looking to hoard as many electronics as possible.

If it's any consolation, the COVID-19 pandemic situation is starting to get better in most countries.
