According to the most recent numbers in 2020, Mexico City has an estimated population of 9.2 million.

Forza Horizon 5 reached almost half of Mexico City's population at launch.

According to Phil Spencer, more than 4.5 million players played Forza Horizon 5 on November 9.

The Xbox head confirmed that the numbers make Forza Horizon 5 the biggest Xbox Game Studios launch ever.

Spencer also added that Forza Horizon 5's launch numbers are several times more than what Forza Horizon 4 had at peak.

It's safe to say that Playground Games had another winner on its hands with Forza Horizon 5.

Only time will tell if it can hold on to its record or if Forza Horizon 5 will eventually fall to second place.

For now, gamers can enjoy Forza Horizon 5 on the Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, pC, and Xbox Game Pass.
