Rockstar pushes back GTA Online and next-gen GTA 5 to March 2022

It appears that PS5 and Xbox Series S/X owners will have to wait for a little longer to get a chance to see Los Santos at its best.

According to Rockstar Games, GTA V: Enhanced Edition will not release in November 2021.

Rockstar did not specify the reason for the delay.

Naturally, fans were furious and disappointed.

It just doesn't make any sense for Rockstar to delay a game that's already nearing its 10th anniversary.

If it's any consolation, Rockstar did drop a new trailer

GTA Online has been one of the biggest successes in gaming history.

Speaking of, Rockstar also confirmed that PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive more GTA Online content as part of the studio's marketing deal with Sony.

Fans just aren't angry about the delay, they're also worried that it might affect when GTA VI will release.

Because of the delay, GTA VI might not be released until 2026 instead of the rumored 2025 release window.

If this is indeed the case, then games like Saints Row will be able to capitalize on it.

At the moment, March 2022 is shaping up to be a big month for Take-Two.

In addition to the launch of GTA V: Enhanced Edition and GTA Online, WWE 2K22 is also expected to arrive on the same month.

Firaxis Games' Marvel's Midnight Suns is also expected to release in March 2022.

Another game that's expected to drop in March is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

In other news, Rockstar hasn't addressed the rumors about the GTA Remastered Trilogy.
