Here is our first look at the Call of Duty: Vanguard single-player campaign

Sledgehammer Games' Call of Duty: Vanguard took center stage at Opening Night Live.
Activision dropped a brand-new trailer for Vanguard at Gamescom 2021.
Unlike the more general teasers that we've gotten of Vanguard so far, the latest footage is the longest yet.
It puts audiences right in the middle of the action, as one of the main characters that gamers will get to play as come November 5.
The 9-minute gameplay video is taken straight from the single-player campaign as Polina.
We see her sneaking through enemy camps, stabbing enemies right on their face, and shooting her way through all comes with a powerful shotgun.
After more recent if not contemporary settings, Activision is taking gamers back to World War 2 with Vanguard.
Unlike Sledgehammer's previous attempt in Call of Duty: WWII, Vanguard has a much heavier focus on its narrative aspect.
We already know from earlier reveals that the game will follow the story of four protagonists.
Raven Software is also working on a new map for Call of Duty: Warzone.
The said map will use Vanguard's in-game engine for easier integration.
Treyarch is also lending Sledgehammer a hand with a brand-new Zombies mode for Vanguard.
The new Zombies mode will be a prequel that will be set before the events of Black Ops - Cold War.
Treyarch explains that this will help tell the story of the origin of the zombies.
