Fans took to Twitter to express their displeasure regarding the recasting choice as Cavill joins the DC Universe.

The common sentiment is that Henry Cavill is irreplaceable as Geralt of Rivia.

Liam Hemsworth, who will join The Witcher in Season 4, has said that he is a huge fan of The Witcher and of Cavill.

However, fans are aware of the work that Cavill put for the role of Geralt of Rivia.

It'll be interesting to see if this casting change will affect the future of Netflix's The Witcher series or if Liam Hemsworth is able to prove his worth.
