Fan attends AEW Dynamite with sign asking for GTA 6 announcement

"GTA 6, when?" is probably one of the most meme'd phrase in recent times, but it appears that Rockstar has no intention of indulging fans anytime soon.

The Grand Theft Auto franchise's longtime developers have gone radio silent about the next numbered installment in the video game series.

Because of this, fans have had to get creative.

There was that one time where a fan went on stage at a German games show.

Apparently, the fan was hoping that the host knew when GTA 6 might release.

Now, another fan has  attempted to ask Rockstar for a GTA 6 update.

At a recent AEW: Dynamite match, a fan was seen holding up a sign asking for a GTA  6 update.

Rockstar has yet to address these two fans' questions.

Some are speculating that Rockstar encouraged these people, in order to generate buzz for GTA 6.

We doubt that is true, as it's s all too premature, since the game isn't expected to release until 2025.

Right now, Rockstar is preparing for the launch of the standalone version of GTA Online and the next-gen versions of GTA V.

After this, Rockstar is rumored to release a GTA trilogy bundle.

The said compilation will reportedly be composed of GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas.

If Rockstar does confirm GTA 6 despite the game still being very early in its development process, most fans probably won't mind.

Lest we forget, Bethesda confirmed The Elder Scrolls 6 back in 2018.

The next TES game isn't even expected to release until 2023 if not 2024.
