Embracer announces studio switch for “AAA project” suspected to be Star Wars: KOTOR remake

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was placed on hold indefinitely back in July, but it now seems to be back on track.

In its most recent interim report, video game publisher, Embracer Group, announced that one of its AAA projects had switched studios.

Many believe that the game in question is the company’s remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR).

According to Embracer, "One of the Group’s AAA projects has transitioned to another studio within the Group. This was done to ensure the quality bar is where we need it to be for the title."

The Embracer Group’s remake is the third installation and is highly anticipated by fans of the series.
