Battlefield 2042 is one of the biggest high-profile failures in recent memory.

In its latest earnings call, EA's CEO, Andrew Wilson, revealed that the publisher is taking the "long view" with Battlefield 2042.

Andrew Wilson also expressed his confidence in the new Battlefield 2042 team, which has been led by Vince Zampella since December.

Only time will tell if EA's plans for Battlefield 2042 will bear fruit.
