Benedict Wong, one of the stars in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, appears to confirm reshoots.

In an interview, Benedict Wong was asked about his current projects and roles in two upcoming Phase Four Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had already experienced delays in production. However,  principal photography was wrapped up in April 2021.

It was revealed in the trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings that Wong would be part of the cast.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is hotly anticipated due to the connections that have been made with Marvel Disney+ exclusive shows WandaVision and Loki.

Wong’s statement that the production is still ongoing, with additional filming being made until September is likely in reference to unannounced pickups and reshoots.

If pickups and reshoots for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are still going, it is likely that Raimi is adding and streamlining scenes from the principal photography.

Raimi is one of the more detail-oriented directors with a reputation for doing multiple takes, such as the cafeteria scene in Spider-Man, which had 156 takes.
