Kojima Productions confirms Death Stranding Director's Cut for the PC

By Ray Ampoloquio January 4, 2022

Death Stranding: Director's Cut proved to be just as divisive as the original game.

The Director's Cut didn't exactly open the game up to a wider audience, but it was still quite successful.

So much so that Kojima Productions and 505 Games are releasing Death Stranding Director's Cut on the PC.

Kojima confirmed the PC port of Death Stranding Director's Cut during Intel's showcase at CES 2022.

Unfortunately, Kojima Productions nor the game's publisher, 505 Games, confirmed anything for the PC version of the Director's Cut.

The original Director's Cut for the PS5 adds more combat mechanics to the base game, including upgraded melee attacks, mounted machine guns, as well as a new Maser gun.

Other additions include evolved stabilizers with thrusters and improved long-distance range of the cargo catapult.

The Director's Cut also lets players revisit boss battles, share scores online and compete with other players on a racing track.

We'll likely find out more about the PC version of Death Stranding: Director's Cut soon.

In the meantime, those who are interested in purchasing Death Stranding: Director's Cut can wishlist the game on Steam.
