A decade in the lab, multiple developers, and a swath of rumors later, Dead Island 2 is back from the dead.
Just like the Thug that all but refuses to die, Dambuster Studios as well as Deep Silver, held a showcase for the long-gestating Dead Island sequel, against all odds, and it went surprising well.
The latest Dead Island 2 showcase features a gameplay trailer, a live-action trailer, and the new weapons that will be available when the title comes out.
The showcase had a surprise revelation as well because the game will apparently let you play as a zombie.
The Dead Island 2 showcase is also giving users a preview of the limited edition variant of the game, HELL-A edition.
Dead Island 2 is scheduled to be out on the PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, and the PC, on April 28.
