After spending nearly a year as criticism fodder, the public opinion on CD Projekt RED's most controversial game is starting to change for the better.
According to the CEO of the Polish company, Adam Kiciński, Cyberpunk 2077 sales have gone up over the first three months of 2022.
The sales chart reveals that Cyberpunk 2077 saw at least a 600% increase in sales in Q1 of 2022 following the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X update.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most expensive video games ever made, costing CDPR nearly a decade's worth of effort and roughly $175 million.
If the current sales trend for Cyberpunk 2077 keeps up, CDPR might have to pivot and revisit its original plans to release more paid expansions for the game.
