Details on cut Shadow of the Colossus content appears on 4Chan

Shadow of the Colossus managed to pack in so much content, especially relative to its contemporaries at the time.

Now, leaked content from 4Chan proves that Shadow of the Colossus could've even been a more transcendent game.

Regardless of whatever reason Japan Studio and Team Ico had, we know that it must have been valid.

After all, the cut content from Shadow of the Colossus could have made the game so much bigger than it was.

What is surprising is that we've heard very little about this content about Shadow of the Colossus from official sources.

According to an unnamed developer, it's because of the game's director, Fumito Ueda.

The unnamed developer claims that Ueda was against revealing details about the development process.

Another interesting discussion is why 2018's Shadow of the Colossus remake didn't implement at least some of the cut content.

As interesting as the cut content is, we will probably never see it in a game anytime soon.

Ueda has since moved on from Sony Interactive Entertainment and is working on a new game with his own studio, genDESIGN.

Team Ico is also no more, along with Japan Studio, which was merged with other studios just this 2021.
