Capcom teases a Resident Evil 4 remake announcement

By Ray Ampoloquio August 22, 2021

Resident Evil 4 is widely considered the best Resident Evil game of all time.

It's also one of the most influential titles in gaming history.

Given the game's legacy and the success of its last two remakes, Capcom has every reason to work on a Resident Evil 4 remake.

While Capcom hasn't officially confirmed that a RE4 remake is in the works, the studio is teasing it.

Technically though, a remake is already in development - a VR version.

However, it's hard to blame fans for thinking that an actual non-VR remake is in development.

This is especially true after Capcom deliberately used the number "4" in a tweet.

Fans believe that Capcom is going to announce the Resident Evil 4 remake at Gamescom 2021.

If this is true, then it's only a matter of time before we hear more about the rumored remake.

A remake of the best Resident Evil game would be a great way to fill the lack of horror games these days.

At the moment, fans are waiting for more news about the upcoming Resident Evil Village DLCs.
