Call of Duty: Vanguard officially announced with video

By Aron Gerencser August 17, 2021

Activision has just officially revealed this year's Call of Duty installment.

This follows an earlier, major leak concerning Call of Duty: Vanguard, including reveal, beta and release dates.

The official information confirms the leaked reveal date, and we have a fresh  trailer too.

According to the leaked information, Vanguard was to be revealed fully in-game in Warzone.

Warzone will continue to operate after the release of Vanguard, with integration, and is expected to get a WWII map as well.

The teaser trailer appears to be heavily edited live action footage of locations intended to recreate various theatres of war from World War 2.

Each shot ends on some part of the scenery roughly forming a face, likely of the main characters of Vanguard's story.

Warzone is going to set the stage for the game's full, main reveal event on the 19th of August.

The teaser trailer has been tagged with #BattleofVerdansk.

In celebration of the new game's official announcement, there will be a one hour Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP event in Warzone.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is expected to launch this November.
