Atari denies rapper Soulja Boy's claims of ownership over company

Soulja Boy rose to prominence back in the late 2000s.

Since then, he's become more well-known for other things.

In recent years, Soulja Boy has attempted to break into the gaming industry with his own knock-off consoles.

Now, the rapper claims that he owns Atari.

Soulja Boy claims that Atari was impressed with the sales of his knock-off consoles.

Suffice to say that Atari was not pleased with Soulja Boy.

The Japanese gaming console manufacturer immediately took to Twitter to issue a response.

"We know that CEO of Atari is a dream job, but that honor belongs to Wade Rosen." - says Atari.

The gaming industry has a lot to offer for celebrities and popular figures.

Even Snoop Dog has dabbled with streaming every now and then.

Soulja Boy was welcomed by the Destiny community earlier this year as well.

Here's to hoping that Soulja Boy has learned his lesson.
