Atlus confirms Persona 6 via job recruitment page

By Ray Ampoloquio July 13, 2021

It's been nearly 5 years since Atlus and P Studio released Persona 5, way back in September 2016.

A considerable amount of time has now lapsed.

However, it appears that Atlus is preparing to work on the next installment in the highly acclaimed JRPG franchise.

With at least six years separating Persona 6 from Persona 5, Atlus will have the benefit of time to work on the next installment and release it to a wave of excited fans.

While releasing Persona 4 and 5 on the PC back in 2020 was a nice touch, it's not a new Persona game.

While an official announcement of the next entry is nowhere to be found.

There is an official recruitment page that's being used by Atlus Japan and confirms that Persona 6 is in development.

Atlus director Naoto Hiraoki confirmed in an interview that the current staff working on the Persona games isn't enough to realize the vision that the studio has for Persona 6.

If it's any consolation, longtime Persona fans know better than to expect each game in the series to release soon after another.
