Alan Wake 2 is already in full production over at Remedy Entertainment

Alan Wake was one of the biggest surprise hits released in the early 2010s.

Now, Alan Wake is finally getting a sequel. Or, at least, that's how it would appear.

The unofficial confirmation comes from the studio's most recent investor report.

Remedy detailed that the unannounced game project it is working on alongside Epic Games "has moved into full production".

In the same message to its investors, Remedy also confirmed that it is still in "full production mode" on another unannounced game.

We have reason to believe that Epic is going to want to make both games exclusive to its digital storefront, the Epic Games Store.

This would also help explain the sightings of Alan Wake remastered and Final Fantasy VII Remake listings on the backend of the Epic Games Store.

In addition to what we have already mentioned, the "future bigger-budget Control game" is still in its "early conception phase."

At the earliest, we can expect Alan Wake 2 to be released in 2023 with a potential reveal at E3 2022 or sometime by then.
