343 confirms next Halo Infinite multiplayer preview
By Ray Ampoloquio September 11, 2021
343 Industries is ramping up its efforts to test the game and give audiences a taste of what's to come.
Now, the studio is gearing up for a second playtest for Halo Infinite.
The best part is that it's coming a lot sooner than most people think.
The next Halo Infinite multiplayer preview will kick off on September 24.
To join, 343 explains that all users have to do is have a fully registered Halo Insider profile before September 13.
From there, 343 will choose who to invite from the list of eligible accounts.
It's worth noting that this is the second preview 343 Industries has done for Halo Infinite.
The first Halo Infinite technical preview ran from July 29 through August 1.
Since then, 343 has promised to do at least one more technical preview for Halo Infinite before its launch.
After much speculation and rumors, 343 finally announced earlier this year that Halo Infinite will launch on December 8.
Despite the game's long delay, 343 confirmed that the latest Halo installment is not going to be complete from the get-go.
The game won't have a campaign co-op or a Forge mode until later in 2022.
An earlier leak from a reputable data miner claims that Halo Infinite will have 23 maps available.
Dataminers have found other unannounced details about Halo Infinite as well.
There's even a rumor floating around that Halo Infinite and Destiny 2 will cross over at some point.
Of course, unless it comes from 343 Industries, we recommend that you take anything you hear or read with a grain of salt.
