It's already been seven years since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, and it seems like we'll still have to wait a while for the next installment to be released.
GTA Online seemingly keeps Rockstar from rushing the release of the next game - despite their statements to the contrary. It is a good business decision to not cannibalize your own revenue by releasing competing products and GTA Online continuously proves its quality through maintained success and popularity. It is one of the best multiplayer experiences even today, almost a decade after its release.
Part of that success is thanks to a steady stream of free DLC, constantly adding new content to the game - alongside new things to buy! If you feel like you never have enough GTA$, this guide will give you a few quick tips.
Earning Money Fast in GTA Online
GTA Online's economy is the backbone of the game. Money is used not just in purchasing weapons but also vehicles and properties. You can even gamble in the in-game casino to lose all of your hard-earned money.
If you are a GTA Online newbie, you do not have to worry that much. The game will provide you a pre-made set of missions to give you the idea of how to accomplish things.
While these missions aren't the most exciting the game has to offer, they do have a substantial monetary reward ($200,000) and a big bump up to your rank.
Use this money in buying a high-end apartment with a heist-planning room since that is the place where you will plan all of your next moves.
While GTA Online is best experienced without rushing everything, that is not the case when you want to earn GTA$. Doing VIP Work is one of the most efficient ways to build up some solid finances without wasting too much time, but it is a pretty grindy affair.
First, you have to start an organization. Then you can select VIP Work and choose from a number of free roam missions to complete. Use your downtime between missions for completing VIP Work.
VIP Work is more of a side job that respects your time. Do these jobs together with the other work to gain money.
The Doomsday Heist
Heists were the number one earning method in GTA Online for a long time, and are still popular thanks to the constant stream of new players who need cash but don't quite have their businesses figured out yet. These are your typical mid-game earning activity.
After mastering the Pacific Standard Job, the Doomsday Heist should be your next target. This multi-tiered heist has three acts. Like regular heists, you cannot solo these either.
The Doomsday Heist is more difficult than what you have already experienced up to this point. It is all worth it as you can end with GTA$1 million per Act. By the end of the heist, you are more or less GTA$3 million richer.
Many players aren't fans of time-restricted missions, but for those of you who like adrenaline-pumping scenes, Time Trials is a great mode. Time Trials are updated every week, and your payout depends on your performance. Since speed is the point here, you won't be spending much time on these!
These challenges are confusing though so it is better to familiarize yourself with the map first before driving into this job.
Special & Vehicle Cargo
These jobs are probably the biggest profiteering scheme in GTA Online. But first, you have to establish an Office building and warehouses for your vehicles.
For vehicle cargo jobs, you will have to source vehicles and put them in your warehouse. You ought to have 10 unique standard and mid-range cars in order to have access to the high-end car reward.
After gaining access to high-end cars, you are set for life. Just rinse and repeat in your exportation of a top-range car, then source another one, and export again.
Gunrunning and Bikers Clubhouse jobs allow you to have passive income. With these methods, you are going to manufacture products and sell them for a substantial amount.
To kickstart your business, you have to buy a Bunker or a Motorcycle Club and Cocaine business. You can then buy or steal supplies to manufacture products.
You can increase your profit margins by stealing stock instead of buying it, and selling your product in large quantities to maximize bonuses and payouts.
Megalodon Shark - $8,000,000
"Live in Excess, Get What You Want Faster" is the official tagline of the Shark cards.
As you can see in the previous tips, making money requires spending money. Megalodon Shark is the best value for your real-world money. You will have GTA$8 million in GTA money right off the bat. This will allow you to buy not just the luxuries, but the high-end apartment, warehouses, and properties for all the jobs. This is a great starter for those who have money to burn. There is no shame in getting ahead, the GTA universe is built on shameless shady characters itself.
