Using Black Ops Cold War Weapons in Warzone

Christmas came early for fans of the Call of Duty franchise, with the arrival of Warzone Season 1 earlier this December.

The arrival of the first ever season for Call of Duty: Warzone signals a lot of things. Arguably the biggest highlight though is that Warzone and Black Ops Cold War are now fully integrated into each other.

What this basically means is that players can now use Black Ops Cold War weapons in Warzone.

What Black Ops Cold War Weapons Are Available in Warzone?

Before anything else, let's talk about the kind of Black Ops Cold War weapons in Warzone.

In Warzone Season 1, a total of 29 Black Ops Cold War weapons will be made available in the Battle Royale mode. This includes five Assault Rifles; five Submachine Guns; four Marksman Rifles; Three Light Machine Guns; Three Sniper Rifles; Three Pistols; Two Shotguns; Three Launchers; One Melee Weapon.

Getting Black Ops Cold War Weapons in Warzone

More weapons = more fun in Warzone Season 1.

If it's your first time loading up Warzone since the Season 1 update, you should encounter an update that says something along the lines of being able to unlock and equip weapons from both Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare.

To do that, all you need to do is:

  1. Load up Call of Duty: Warzone
  2. Switch on over to the "Weapons" tab
  3. Click "Edit Loadout"
  4. Choose "Create-A-Class"
  5. Switch to "Primary Weapons" or "Secondary Weapons"
  6. Select weapon class
  7. Scroll down until you find the weapons from Black Ops Cold War, which are symbolized with by having a "Black Ops" logo next to the name

Once you see the Black Ops Cold War weapons in Warzone, feel free to try them out.

What's interesting about the addition of Black Ops Cold War weapons in Warzone is that it lets you experience each gun depending as to how it's programmed for a particular title.

For example, the AK from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is different from the AK from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

In addition to having new Black Ops Cold War weapons in Warzone, new attachments were also added along with the update.
