You can say a lot about Ubisoft but the French publisher is not without ambition. It takes a lot of confidence to make a game based on one of the highest-grossing movies of all time, Avatar. But, it seems this isn't the only Disney property Ubisoft is working on.

According to reports, Ubisoft is also working with the Marvel side of the Mouse House.
Leak: It appears an actor has revealed Ubisoft is developing a Blade game. The actor shared these set photos of a Ubisoft badge, himself holding a sword prop, clapperboard with the names “Marvel” and the director of the upcoming Blade movie, and gaming hashtags. #Blade pic.twitter.com/wvRNlHG8lP

We've got Alex Martin's Instagram account to thank for the latest leak. The motion capture actor recently shared photos while working with Ubisoft for an unannounced project. If you take a closer look at one of the Instagram posts, Marvel is also involved.
Case in point, one of the clapperboards shows the name of Marvel. Not to mention, further inspection of the photos shows the name "B. Tariq", which can only mean Bassam Tariq. Tariq will direct the live-action adaptation of Blade starring Mahershala Ali, which premieres on November 3, 2023, as part of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Unfortunately, without an actual confirmation, we're left to speculate until we hear more of the game from either Ubisoft or Marvel.
Hopefully, we won't have to wait for too long to find out what Ubisoft and Marvel are up to. Disney recently announced the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase for the D23 expo on September 9. If we're lucky, we'll hear more about Ubisoft's hidden Blade project (get it?) alongside other rumored Marvel titles such as Electronic Arts' Iron Man and Black Panther games.
