Ubisoft releases Far Cry 6 Game of the Year edition with an unannounced expansion pack

Despite not winning the award, Ubisoft has released the GOTY edition of Far Cry 6, including a new expansion pack.


Last week we witnessed the Far Cry 6 Game of The Year edition leak online, despite it winning no awards. It was found in the Xbox store database. And today, Ubisoft has released the Game of the Year edition without any official announcements or prior marketing.

The Game of the Year includes the base game, the season pass content, all the DLCs released thus far, and an unannounced new expansion pack. According to the official store page, the new expansion pack is called Lost Between Worlds.

The Game of the Year edition costs $120 for new players, and existing Far Cry 6 players can upgrade to the Game of the Year edition for $60. You get all the previous DLC content, including the season pass content that allows you to play as the previous iconic Far Cry villains, like Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3, Pagan Min from Far Cry 4, and Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5.

The pack also includes the full Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Classic Edition game and an ultimate pack containing three cosmetic packs - The Jungle Expedition Pack, The Croc Hunter Pack, and The Vice Pack.

It is still unclear whether the new unannounced expansion pack will be available separately or not, but presumably, it should be after a while. The Game of the Year edition is currently available on Xbox and PlayStation stores. PC players can also get it through Epic Games Store or the official Ubisoft Launcher.
