It appears Triple H isn't a fan of Roman Reigns holding the WWE Universal Championship and WWE Championship at the same time.

WrestleVotes revealed in a GiveMeSport interview that Triple H hasn't stopped finding a way to split the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, saying:
This is the final mess, and you really can call it a mess. This is the final obstacle and the new team is working to overcome that. There was never a plan when Roman Reigns won the titles a year ago. Triple H was handed this mess, By SummerSlam, there's gonna be two titles.
This year's SummerSlam will be held at the Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on August 5, which is four months removed from WrestleMania 39 where Roman Reigns will presumably drop the titles to Cody Rhodes before taking a lengthy break.
Four months is a long time. With Backlash, King and Queen of the Ring, and Money in the Bank, all scheduled after the end of WrestleMania 39, WWE can develop a credible storyline that will eventually lead to the splitting of the unified title.
However, we're curious to find out how Triple H will handle having Cody Rhodes drop just one of the two titles he's expected to hold going forward.
Interestingly enough, a separate report by Fight Fans claims that Triple H is looking to retire the WWE Universal Championship.
With only a few weeks to go before the ball starts rolling on his first WrestleMania as the creative head, we're curious about what else Triple H has in store for the WWE going forward.
Speaking of the WWE, one of the most highly anticipated matchups for WrestleMania 39 is finally confirmed. Rey Mysterio has finally agreed to face off against Dominik Mysterio at the Showcase of the Immortals in April.
