The Flash movie trailer might not be available until 2023

DC fans hoping to see a trailer for Ezra Miller's upcoming solo DCU entry might have to wait for a little while longer.

Four superhero movies from the DC Universe are coming next year. Although each one is worthy of the hype, The Flash is arguably the most highly anticipated of them all for all the wrong and the right reasons.

The Flash Movie Trailer Not Available Until
The Flash is expected to bring a story inspired by DC Comics' Flashpoint into the DC Universe.

On one hand, The Flash will bring back both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman. In addition, the film reportedly posted similar test screening scores to the Dark Knight trilogy. Of course, it's hard to deny the elephant in the room, which is Ezra Miller. The actor has made headlines lately for not-so-heroic reasons. Although Miller has since met up with Warner Bros. Discovery executives and apologized for his behavior, it's hard to believe that the media and the larger audience will just ignore everything he allegedly did in recent months.

Having said that, a new trailer for The Flash would've helped ease some of the anxiety that surrounds the oft-delayed film.

Unfortunately, while Miller is shooting more scenes for The Flash, the trailer still has a long way to go.

The Flash Movie Trailer Not Available Until
Some are saying that The Flash is the "make or break" movie for Warner Bros. Discovery's cinematic universe.

According to One Take News, a trailer for The Flash won't come out until next year. Several other sources corroborated the claims, with The Wrap's Umberto Gonzale teasing that he "knows what movie it will be in front of."

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the trailer will arrive as soon as Shazam! Fury of the Gods premieres on March 17. It's a long way off but it makes a lot of sense. DCU will want to use the time between now and March to market the Shazam! sequel after going full blast on Black Adam, which recently posted a massive opening weekend box office take. It's also worth noting that three months is the average time between when a movie's first trailer arrives and its premiere.

Of course, knowing that this is pretty normal doesn't make waiting for The Flash's first big trailer when it should've premiered ages ago hurt any less.

Fingers crossed, The Flash and its trailer don't disappoint. We're pretty sure fans are eager to see more of Keaton's Batman, especially in light of Batgirl's cancelation. There's also the new girl, Sasha Calle and her Supergirl, who deserves more of the spotlight in upcoming trailers.

Ezra Miller's antics will surely sour any marketing attempts by Warner Bros. going forward.

Speaking of the DCU, the new head of DC Studios, James Gunn, is teasing that the DCU will pattern itself on DC Comic's Greatest Stories Ever Told series.
