Despite getting pushed back to 2023, Nintendo and Illumination's Super Mario Bros movie will get a trailer sooner than we expected. The movie is currently set to release on April 7, 2023, in North America and on April 28, 2023, in Japan.

The film was initially announced at the beginning of 2018, with the cast revealed about three years later in 2021. Chris Pratt voices the highly anticipated animated adaptation of everyone's favorite plumber alongside Anya-Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Charlie Peckham Day as Luigi, and Seth Rogan as Donkey Kong.
In a recent Tweet, New York Comic Con's official Twitter account announced that the teaser trailer for the Super Mario Bros. film would be shown during the show on October 4th, 2022, at 4 P.M. ET. This is extremely early, considering the new April 2023 release date.

There's not much known about the animated Super Mario Movie, and even the actors are not well-informed about the movie (or are they?) despite already having recorded their dialogues. Charlie Day, who plays Luigi, confirmed said as much in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on his show.
While not much is known about the new movie, fans would be delighted to see the first-ever teaser debut during New York Comic Con event. We're sure the die-hard Super Mario fans have already marked the date on their calendars.
