Turkish developer releases Squid Game 3D mobile survival game

Squid Game 3D is one of the first big and blatant gaming attempts to try and jump on the Squid Game bandwagon.

Leave it up to video game developers to find a way to take something that just went mainstream and make a game out of it.

It's only a matter of time before a bigger studio makes a Squid Game type video game.

It hasn't even been a full month since Netflix's hit survival drama, Squid Game, was released. Now, the popular TV series has just been turned into countless video games, with Click Game Studio releasing a new mobile survival game that unashamedly uses the same name.

If it wasn't obvious, Squid Game 3D is based on Squid Game, where a player's job is to make it through a series of deadly games and survive.

Is Squid Game 3D worth playing?

Squid Game 3D isn't the most polished effort, but it's not half-bad.

A few weeks ago, there were reports that someone was working on a Squid Game type of video game. We doubt that this take by the Turkish studio is the one that the rumor was talking about, but it remains just as impressive.

In the show, Squid Game gives 456 people drowning in debt a chance to have all of their encumbrances paid just by participating in children's games. The only catch? If you don't make it past a game, you'll die.

At the moment, Squid Game is already the most popular show on Netflix and it's not even close. So, it only makes sense that studios try to capitalize on this by making video games based on the same premise.

With that said, Squid Game 3D currently features three games. The first one is Red Light, Green Light, while the others are Ppogi and Marbles, respectively. All three games are featured in Netflix's nine-episode series. The developers promise to add more games from Squid Game to their title in the future, starting with Glass and Rope Race.

Click Game Studio's game is named Squid Game 3D on TapTap and Squid Game Battle on the Google Play Store.
