Since the beginning of the year, the LEGO Group has been actively engaging in numerous partnerships, including those with Nintendo and 2K, and it has now announced an upcoming collaboration with SEGA.

LEGO builders and fans of Sonic the Hedgehog can look forward to an exciting summer, as the toy company is set to release four new sets that allow builders to construct obstacles for Sonic to race through while taking on the Badniks and saving his friends.
The LEGO sets come with a range of accessories, including a DJ deck, a beach hangout, and more. Furthermore, unlike previous LEGO sets, Sonic will be able to blaze through the courses built with the help of the Speed Sphere.
The LEGO Group's designer, Frederic Roland Andre, thrilled fans with the exciting announcement, stating:
It really isn’t like anything else! The sets offer an entirely new, action-packed play experience. I’m especially proud of the Speed Sphere, as it was quite a challenge to figure out how we would get Sonic to speed up and interact with each course. Sonic is known for his speed and how he runs and jumps through courses, so for LEGO sets inspired by him there was no way we could create a static set, we simply had to be creative and make them as action-packed as possible!
Here is a concise overview of the four upcoming LEGO sets:
