The world would be a better place if every video game company was as open to demos as Capcom and Square Enix. Now, as we wait for the remake of Resident Evil 4 to come out on March 24, we just got caught wind of when we'll get a chance to play through the demo.
Resident Evil Village got multiple demos in the months leading up to its launch, so the upcoming remake of one of the best Resident Evil games ever is getting at least one as well. What we didn't know was when it's going to be available. However, a Twitch ad just revealed when the RE4 Remake demo is coming and it's soon.
Apparently, Capcom wanted to reveal the demo at the Capcom Spotlight event, which is scheduled for today, March 9 at 10:30pm GMT / 5:30pm ET / 2:30pm PT.

According to those who had a chance to play a bit of Resident Evil 4 Remake at last year's Tokyo Game Show, the demo will let gamers play through the same section. The ad doesn't specify when the demo is coming out, only saying it's "available now." We can only assume this means that Capcom will release the RE4 Remake demo at the same time it is announced.
Capcom has ramped up the marketing efforts for the upcoming RE4 remake over the past few weeks. Most recently, the publisher confirmed that the VR mode for the PSVR2 is free. At the same time, it also released a free-to-play prequel game. Unfortunately, it's not all good news, as GameStop has reportedly started canceling pre-orders of the RE4 Remake without offering a reason.
