Leaks suggest that Peacemaker is the next Suicide Squad member to join Fortnite

Rumor has it that John Cena's Peacemaker is the next member of DC's The Suicide Squad to join Fortnite.

Epic Games' investment in Fortnite's budding metaverse has paid off handsomely. Over the years, Fortnite has amassed an enviable roster of playable skins based on popular franchises. For 2021, it appears that Epic has intensified its focus towards adding characters from the DC Extensive Universe.

Recent reports suggest that Peacemaker is joining Bloodsport and Harley Quinn in Fortnite real soon.

So far, this has included the likes of the DC Trinity of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. We've even seen Bloodsport, Deathstroke, and Harley Quinn join the foray.

Now, there are rumors that John Cena's Peacemaker is coming next.

Is a Peacemaker Fortnite skin in development?

Peacemaker is the only The Suicide Squad member so far to get his own TV show.

The latest DCEU film to drop, James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, performed below expectations at the box office. However, fans were more than happy to watch a ton of little-known DC anti-heroes finally make their cinematic debut.

This includes Peacemaker, who was portrayed by John Cena. The patriotic peace-loving psychopath was an instant hint among casual audiences and hardcore fans alike.

With fellow Task Force X members Harley Quinn and Bloodsport already in Fortnite, Peacemaker's inclusion makes a lot of sense.

ShiinaBR, a well-known leaker within the Fortnite community, was the first to report on a Peacemaker skin in Fortnite. ShiinaBR added that Epic intends to tie the Peacemaker Fortnite skin with the upcoming Peacemaker TV show, which is set to release in January 2022.

However, unlike ShiinaBR's usual leaks, this intel doesn't come from data mined information. Instead, it comes from a "Reddit insider" that ShiinaBR describes as the same individual who leaked the Bloodsport skin in Fortnite.

At this point, anything and everything can happen in Fortnite. Epic's even been rumored to be adding Naruto to Fortnite sometime in the future. So, for Epic to collaborate with Warner Bros for another Fortnite skin that will tie into an upcoming HBO Max show doesn't come off as a surprise anymore.
