The official Cobra Kai Season 5 trailer is teasing an all-new Karate brawl

Can you name a better dream team than former Daniel rivals, Chozen and Johnny?

There are so many things that we've wanted to do and see as children that never happened. Although most of us have come to accept the disappointment, it still stings not seeing our fantasies come to life. This is also partly why Cobra Kai is so successful. After all, would you have ever thought that William Zabka and Ralph Macchio would ever reprise their roles as Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso, respectively?

Miyagi-Do will need all the help it can get to up against the Silver-infused Cobra Kai.

What's even more amazing is that the more we see of Cobra Kai, the more familiar faces that make an unlikely reappearance. Case in point, Yuji Okumoto's Chozen Toguchi, who, in the latest trailer for Cobra Kai Season 5, has decided to team up with Johnny.

Yes. You read that right. This is the Miyagiverse's equivalent of Thanos and Kang teaming up against Galactus.

Technically, this isn't the first trailer for Cobra Kai Season 5. Netflix dropped a surprise trailer when it confirmed the release date for the upcoming season in May.

Surprisingly enough, Sean Kanan's Mike Barnes is absent from the official trailer. The other antagonist from The Karate Kid Part III appeared in the first images for Season 5. We're assuming that he and Silver are still in cahoots, but after everything we've seen in Cobra Kai, anything can happen. Who knows? Maybe Mike has arrived at the valley to help out Chozen and Johnny against his former mentor only to turn against all three of them. Now, wouldn't that be something?

We wouldn't be surprised if Netflix renews Cobra Kai for a sixth season as soon as Season 5 premieres.

In any case, we won't have to wait for long to find out what awaits us in Cobra Kai Season 5. The next season of the action-packed karate series will debut on September 9 on Netflix.
